Who We Are

Details Landscape Art is a boutique landscape design and construction firm. In addition to creating fine gardens, we are thoroughly professional. Our work is tasteful and meticulous, and we are reliable, courteous, and conscientious. Personal attention to detail is possible by remaining small - we design and build only 15-20 custom landscapes per year with a small, highly trained crew.

The key to a successful landscape project is a creative balanced design. We believe it costs no more to be imaginative and do something interesting, something exciting. Installation brings the design to life, and we spare no effort to deliver a beautiful outdoor living space.

Although each garden is as unique as each homeowner, the Details Landscape Art style can be seen in most. It is a clean, natural, manicured look, with some rock and wood elements, low voltage lighting for evening drama, the soothing sound of running water, and as many Japanese maples as possible.

When the job is complete, the responsibility for the new garden shifts to the homeowner. We ensure a smooth transition by leaving watering and fertilizing recommendations for sod and plant material, and instructions for the operation of automatic irrigation controllers and lighting transformers.

Details Landscape Art is licensed, bonded, and insured. As a member of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA), we keep current on new or improved materials, techniques, plant varieties, and design ideas.
