Featured Garden: Marin County Landscape Design & Installation
In the Sleepy Hollow area of San Anselmo lies a front yard project on a quiet side street. The homeowners wanted a more formal look, with lots of grass and a boxwood hedge along the front walk. A brick walkway was installed to match the existing porch, with entry pillars on either side, topped with lanterns.
On the side of the garage, Details Landscape Art planted two potato vines, which were trained over several months into a sweeping architectural semicircle around the garage window.
All plants and trees were deer resistant and the homeowners actually helped control deer damage to plant material by regularly feeding apples to the deer!
